Art 100
Art 100 opened up new ways for me to play with color, blending and shaping it until each image felt cohesive and intentionally crafted. The course encouraged deep reflection, allowing me to use edited imagery as a medium for thoughtful commentary and gentle critiques of the world around me.
A Tea Party
In this design, I applied Art 100 concepts of color harmony, layering, and compositional balance to integrate three illustrated characters into a unified visual space. Through controlled tonal adjustments, edge blending, and careful placement, I created a cohesive scene that demonstrates my ability to use digital editing tools to build polished, intentional imagery
Frog
For this image, I used selective coloring, contrast adjustments, and digital compositing to merge a frog and butterfly into a surreal, cohesive scene. By using editing tools to make a clean reflection and refine tone, texture, and symmetry, I transformed simple source images into a polished design that showcases intentional digital craftsmanship.
Industrialism and the environment
In this piece, I layered contrasting imagery to create a visual commentary on the tension between natural environments and industrial pollution. By blending lush landscape photography with a sharply framed view of smoke and machinery, I used digital compositing, masking, and tonal adjustments to reveal how human impact disrupts the serenity of the natural world, turning the image into a subtle but intentional environmental critique.
